Who is DAN (Divers Alert Network)
DAN stands for Divers Alert Network, often referred to as the 'diver's safety net'.
DAN's mission is that of operating and maintaining an international network of alarm centres, active 24 hours a day, guaranteeing, in the event of an emergency, specialized assistance, to any diver, anywhere in the world.
DAN is a not-for-profit organization that provides emergency medical advice and assistance for underwater diving injuries, and underwrites a wide range of research, education and training programs that promote safe diving. More about Divers Alert Network
